A little about me

I’m a London born, Bristol based BAFTA nominated editor who loves crafting compelling stories.

I cut my teeth in the mid 00’s during the last hurrah of youth orientated broadcast music programming. Starting as a tape runner at Remedy Prod. in Ladbroke Grove, I quickly rose to staff editor, cutting & delivering a weekly schedule of short & long form music programs for both Channel 4 & MTV. It was during this time that I became well versed in cutting with music, at speed, and delivering to spec (incl. grade & audio mix) to a national broadcaster.

My freelance career started with a stint at Apple Music covering their flagship global radio station Beats Radio, as well as their annual festival, Apple Music Festival @ The Roundhouse. I also started delivering for major brands incl. Nike, Disney, Xbox & Samsung.

Since moving to Bristol in 2017, I have immersed myself in a variety of genres including Factual Entertainment, Documentary, Daytime, Food, News and Children’s. I worked on CBBC’s Gym Stars from inception at Drummer TV, culminating in a BAFTA nomination in 2022 for its finale series.

I am renowned by my colleagues for my speed & enthusiasm, with a keen eye for narrative structure & pacing, excellent use of music to drive/embellish a story, and a strong editorial disposition. I’m more than happy to work independently as well collaboratively, and am experienced in working to tight time constraints. I am also highly versatile & adaptive, and relish the challenge of cutting within new genres.

I pride myself in not bringing an ego into the edit suite, and instead put all my energy, attention, skill and love into getting the best show delivered to its broadcaster.
